Conax Florida Corporation has adopted explosive technology to a variety of stored gas systems. This ability provides our customers the advantages of a cold gas system and the reliability of electro-explosive technology.

The regulated stored gas vessel above is used in the Tomahawk Cruise Missile's thrust vector control system. High pressure nitrogen is released via an electro-explosive valve and metered by a 3000 psi regulator. This system has been fully qualified to U.S. Navy specifications.

This technology has lead to the continued use of stored gas systems throughout the DOD programs.
