· Internal calibration and maintain processes for outside calibration and maintenance of testing devices.
· Maintain log/records of inspection equipment calibration and usage dates
· Monitor in-house testing and perform quality/reliability tests and analysis on product during production process
· Verify product calibration prior to shipping
· Design, prepare, recommend test set-ups/fixturing, as well as acceptance criteria, when requested
· Write/revise procedures for equipment calibration and operation
· Associates degree in electrical technology
· 1-3 yrs manufacturing environment

BRIEF
JOB DESCRIPTION AND QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
Reviews and approves written procedures
consistent with contract specifications
Writes and performs Quality Assurance training programs
Provides guidance and direction to QA Engineers and QC Supervisors
Writes approval authority on purchase requisitions as established by Director of QA
Performs duties similar to QA Engineer but from a total program standpoint
Oversees department in Director of QAs absence
Assist Project Engineering during failure analysis of acceptance testing failures
Review Acceptance Test/Qualification Test procedures
Review Conax process specifications (CPSs)
Assist Director of QA with project proposals as directed
Interface with customers Quality Assurance Representatives
Review tool and part drawings
Requisition special gages as well as standard gages as required
Generate Quality Assurance Program Plans as required by contract
Generate or assist in providing Reliability Program Plans when required by contract
Perform Source Inspection, Audits and Pre-award surveys
Review and assist Project Engineer with Qualification Test Reports
Generate monthly quality reports as required by contract
BS Degree
5-7 years as QA Engineer
Knowledge of MIL-STD's and training techniques
